All the trains
that pass you by
do they give you the drive
I long for

Do they give you the ride
of the night
with no dawn
filled with thrills and dazzle
a touch that gives
asking for nothing in return

Trains
they don't go backwards
you know
at least haven't seen them doing so

So it's only forward
that you see

Up and down
the hills
through the tunnels
then back to the light

How high you go
is how high you dream
in an endless loop
of a train ride
that gives you the drive
So, I keep looking at the palms
Just like you told me
I need to do
To wake up from a dream

To wake up from a dream
I haven’t wished for
From a dream I am not up to

And nothing happens
For days, or weeks, or months
Or who could say what measure of time
There is to pass

And it’s hard
Harder I ever thought it could be
For me to be in this dream

I keep looking at my palms
Wide open
Looking at me

And nothing happens
For real

But I still trust you
Because you’re the one who knows
The one who feels

So, just for the night
Will you come to my dream
Cause palms, they won’t do the trick

And I’m tired of dreaming this dream
Tired of playing the role
Others gave me

Tired of being strong,
Of doing things right

With my eyes open
I want to see the dawn and the fiery skies
And hear the birds’ song
And feel your palm onto mine
With your voice telling me it’s a new day
And that everything will be alright
All the world's a stage
Couldn't agree more
Who would ever consider
To doubt the greatest of all

Putting the queen down
Might be quite a show
However while hunting
There's a thing or two one should know

Chess board or battle field
Whatever puts thy soul to rest
Foreplays the scene
At its worst and its best

Who will it be on the stage
The hunter or its prey
To take the grandeur of the applause
The one on the knees or the one to betray

And with a twist of a knife
Into the heart of the prey
Of the one that was hunted but haunted all the way
The hunter will still hear the queen’s final say

One out of hundreds pain will still weigh
The one that counts, the one I can feel
The one that blurs all the others
The one that makes thee real

Telling where it hurts
Might hurt like thy knife in my heart
But to reveal in greatness will grant the freedom
Before heading to depart

All the world's a stage
Couldn't agree more
Who would ever consider
To doubt the greatest of all

Yet the doubt clings to the air
For what is the win and what is the game
In sparing the pawns
Yet sacrificing the dame

Be water, my friend
I’ll take the fire
Upon my shoulders

Come hell or high water
Be the lighthouse that awaits

Both in the storm
And in the calm

Both in the crowd
And when there’s no boat around

Be water, my dear,
I’ll take the fire
That burns and makes thy troubles vanish
In the ashes to which we all come and go

Dive in
Breathe in

Be the lighthouse that awaits

Be water, my love,
I’ll take the fire
Upon my shoulders
Just to make you safe
Until we rise to an endless blue and green

Just you and me
Some day
It's the beauty I give you
in the art less known to a non wandering soul
within modern shape of the world
deprived of the ideals, taking its final toll

It's the thoughts I give you
in your sleepless, darkest hours
of all the divine
within you that empowers

It's the high I give you
the fearlessness of the ones who dare
all the abstract and shapeless
atomic particles of the essence
no form could ever compare

For you are the airt
and the wind gone wild
thus all my loving I give you
tween these lines
for a single touch of your being, gentle and mild
