Just leave it to the wind
To the fade of yesterday
In the midst of a city haste
That spares nothing and no one

Leave it out in the cold
To the showers of rain
And shovels of snow
And then to the sun
That'll do its utmost to melt it away

Don't give it even a thought
Or a glance when passing by

Just leave it
To the time
And the night beasts

As something unwanted
Whatever that might be

Give yourself a go
With all the rest
Fill it in with whatever pleases
Your senses and your soul

Just leave it to the wind
And don't give it a thought

Then if it stays
Unchanged while tested
Against all odds
Only then will it be something real
That can't be sold or bought
